Celebration Day, 28th November 2014

Baston House held a Celebration of Learning day on 28th November 2014.  The main event was the opening of our new “Gould Block”.  We were privileged that Dr Judith Gould, a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist and a director of the National Autistic Society, agreed to officially open the new building which was named in her honour.  We were also delighted that the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Julian Benington, attended the event and presided over the burying of a time capsule, filled with items chosen by our students, which is to be opened in 50 years’ time.  The event also allowed the students the chance to celebrate and showcase their own specialisms.  The day was a great success attended by parents and members of the extended community who joined with us to share in our celebration of achievements.
