On Thursday 22nd November, Baston House School hosted a WW1 Centenary Afternoon Cream Tea for some of the local senior citizens.
The guests enjoyed a cream tea with a range of home-made sandwiches and a selection of cakes, most of which have been baked by the students.
Students waited on the tables and chatted to the guests, one of whom was over the grand age of 100 years old. They also delighted guests with a selection of live music.
Thank you to the staff who worked very hard to make this successful event happen. We received very positive feedback from the guests commenting on having such a lovely day out.
The students have even been invited to visit them at their homes for a Carol concert.
