On Thursday 7th March, Baston House School will join many other schools worldwide to celebrate…
At Baston House School, the students have been preparing for Safer Internet Day on the 5th February and Safer Internet Week. The Digital Leader of the class has created a poster to promote some of the activities they’ll be taking part in across the week and ways we can all be mindful to keep safe on the internet.
The student’s poster explains ways we can keep ‘Smart’ with the internet:
S – Safe – ensure personal information and passwords are kept safe
M – Meet – never meet with an online friend in person
A – Accept – Don’t accept friend requests from people you don’t know
R – Reliable – Not all people on the internet are reliable
T – Tell – Tell a trusted adult if anything online is making you feel uncomfortable

This year, Safer Internet Day is themed around ‘Together for a Better Internet’. We can all help to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of technology.
