Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent
Salary: £22,500 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday – Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Baston House School. Someone with a friendly and helpful disposition who can draw upon their previous maintenance experience, ensuring the school premises and site are a safe, clean and welcoming environment for the school community.
As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and security of the school premises, ensuring the school meets Health & Safety Legislation, and that the premises, vehicles and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You will ensure a professional service is delivered which meets the needs of the school, including producing and maintaining a rolling programme of redecoration, repairs and maintenance.
Essential:
- Ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- A facilities, trade or maintenance background
- Resilience with the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Good interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills:
- Educational maintenance background
- Knowledge of health and safety and/or safe working practices
- First aid trained
